About the data
Trade figures come live from the World Bank Open Data API: merchandise exports and imports in current US dollars, and trade (exports plus imports of goods and services) as a percentage of GDP. Each market shows the most recent year the World Bank has published, usually one or two years behind the current year.
Exchange rates are daily mid-market reference rates. The Nepali rupee is pegged to the Indian rupee at 1.6.
